Welcome Awal Muharram, the first month in the Muslim Calendar. Today ushers in the year 1427 Hijri ... 1427 years after the historic migration of the first Muslim from Mecca to Medina to escape persecution. We are still 'migrating' since then .. seekers of truth ... seekers of 'meaning' .. seekers of hope .. to find our place in this vast space of time ... Oh Allah guides us through these difficult times:

By (the token of) time (through the ages). Verily Man is in loss. Except such as have faith and do righteous deeds, and (join together) in the mutual teaching of Truth, and of Patience and Constancy.
