My first short impression after reading few pages of "The Collaborator" by Mirza Waheed ..

It is bewildering how a writer can simply grab your imagination with woven words, wrench you away from reality and take you on a journey to a place you have never been to .. making you see through the character's eyes the imageries of utter violence against a backdrop of beautiful valley, lush green mountains and pretty hamlet. The farrago of bloods, cadavers, yellow flowers, green grasses and undulating brook is unsettling but enticing at the same time ...
